Our venue rooms are perfectly suited to hosting a Wedding Reception: Whether it's a Silver Service Wedding Breakfast, an Evening Celebration with DJ, buffet and bar drinks or both running seamlessly together, BAR13 has the experience to put on a Wedding celebration to remember.

There are two party rooms in our venue space each with a fully stocked bar licensed till 1am. You can design the table layout and provide your own decorations to suit your Wedding theme. Menus can be worked to fit in with your dream wedding meal and we can provide a PA system for the speeches. Evening Parties can be designed to follow a sit down wedding meal, or you can simply host a party with buffet, drinks and dancing. Children are welcome throughout and we have no time limit for children to leave.

Silver Service Wedding Breakfasts at BAR13

We have an extensive selection of menus to choose from, or you can pick something from each to make your Wedding Breakfast your own.

You will be assigned a wedding planner to help create your perfect setting in our venue rooms, which can be extended to suit most sized guest lists. We can help advice on seating plans and will set the room up the day before your big day so you can come in that night and decorate as much or as little as you like.

On the day of your wedding, you and your guests will be greeted with Champagne and Fruit juice. During the meal our catering staff will provide your guests with Silver Service to their tables, and the top table will be assigned it's own waiting staff. You can choose to have wine on each table or simply let your guests utilise our bar.

Evening Wedding Celebrations at our York Venue

Traditionally, a wedding's evening celebration (or 'Night Do') is a time when everyone takes off their ties, kicks off their heels and dances the night away. You are likely to have far more friends and family than your actual wedding or wedding breakfast could accomodate, so an evening party is a perfect way of involving everyone in your celebrations.

You'll have plenty of room to dance and mingle, with drinks flowing and good party food for your hungry guests. We can provide a DJ to get the party started, or you can provide your own, it's completely up to you. As BAR13 is one of the few truly family friendly wedding reception venues in York, we have no set time when children must leave, so your guests will have little excuse not to stay until the final song.
